Chapters 34-36 (pages 330-340) Summary

Win and Myron arrive at Barbara Cromwell's house. Win waits in the car while Myron knocks on the door. A woman walks to the door but does not open it. She rudely asks what Myron wants. Myron tells her that he just wants to speak with her. Barbara refuses. She tells him that he should leave immediately. In the background, Myron can hear a little boy whispering to her. Myron continues to ask Barbara to let him in. Finally, she threatens to call the police. Myron gives up and joins Win in the car.

Myron decides to go to the police station in town. Back when Clu got into some trouble there, he bribed a couple of officers to keep quite about the situation. He asks the cop at the desk if two officers, Kolber and Sheriff...
