Chapters 31-33 (pages 312-329) Summary
FJ and Myron meet at Starbucks with Win waiting outside for Myron. Myron cuts to the chase and accuses FJ of telling Clu about the affair between Bonnie and Esperanza. Slyly, FJ admits that he did follow Esperanza and Bonnie to their meeting places. He also claims that he did it because he had to find a way for Clu to switch representation to TruPro. He could promise Clu safety and an agency that would protect him, not betray him.
Myron understands that Clu felt alone and betrayed. He pushes FJ for more, but FJ insists he stopped following the lovers because he became bored. He never saw who killed Clu. He did however, leave an intriguing message on Clu's answering machine, telling him he knew who his wife was sleeping with. FJ promises to tell Myron...
