Summary

In Chapter 12, during the evening, Phoebe meets with Heist in the Airstream trailer where he lives with his three dogs: Jessie, Miller, and Vacuum. Phoebe and Heist agree that they should investigate the Buddhist zen center on Mount Baldy. Phoebe and Heist have a few drinks, and Phoebe begins to kiss Heist.
