Summary
Greer is taking her newfound unemployment as an opportunity to return to her first love – reading. Spending her days in coffee shops seems foreign to her, but she is taking the time to re-evaluate her time at Loci and her experience with Faith. Her and Zee have been in touch through email, and their coldness seems to be thawing.
As she is at home one afternoon, she receives a phone call from Cory. He will be in New York seeing a play and would like to take her up on her offer for a place to stay. The two chat awkwardly when he arrives, Greer learns that Cory’s mother is doing well and that SoulFinder may be gaining some momentum.
