Summary
Cory has received a call from his father informing him that his mother has accidently killed his brother Alby by backing over him with her car. He is now at the Manila airport, rushing to catch the next flight home. He has left Greer numerous messages, forgetting that she does not have cellphone service at Faith’s cottage.
Greer is waiting at his home in Macopee when he arrives, she has decided that comforting Cory at this time is more important than her work, also forgoing Loci’s important summit. Despite his reluctance, Cory goes to his mother’s bedroom and ends up questioning her about how she could not have seen Alby behind the car. He eventually leaves and decides to stay at Greer’s house.
