Chapter 11 Summary

They land in Amsterdam and check into their hotel. They find a basketful of goodies from the Genies in their room. Hazel sends her mom to the park next to the hotel while Hazel sleeps. When Hazel wakes up, her mom admits she didn't go to the park. It is late afternoon.

She tells Hazel that Peter's assistant made reservations for Hazel and Augustus to have dinner that night. Hazel's mom says they should go alone and that it will be very romantic. When Augustus arrives from his room, he is dressed in a suit. He tells Hazel she looks amazing, but Hazel says she feels underdressed. Mrs. Lancaster tells them to be back by 11.

At the restaurant, their table is on the canal. They have a complimentary bottle of champagne from the restaurant. They both say their traditional OK as they clink...
