Summary

Mae is at her bachelorette party with her best friend Katie, complaining about the antics of her sorority sisters. Though Katie comes from a stable, middle-class family, her and her husband operate a collection of charter schools, Endeavor, struggling financially to an extent while raising a child. Mae offers to open a college-savings plan for Katie's daughter, her goddaughter, and they have an argument over Rosa's future.
