Summary
The narrative shifts focus to 1996. By that time, Annie had graduated from high school and had moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Caleb and Camille were worried that their art would not be as interesting without Annie, but they remained determined. They read an article about an artist who was planning to burn down his own house for an art piece. This article gave Caleb and Camille an idea, and they traveled with Buster to Woodstock, New York, where the house burning was to take place. As the house burned, Buster stood with a camcorder, recording it. After a few minutes of the house burning, Caleb and Camille walked calmly out of the house, their clothes on fire.
