Summary
Annie arrives in Tennessee and is dismayed to find that her parents—excited about Annie and Buster’s visits—have planned a performance art piece for them to execute as a family. The performance entails the four of them giving out fake coupons for free sandwiches in front of a sandwich restaurant, in an effort to cause general outrage and commotion at a sandwich restaurant. Unfortunately, the piece fails, as only a few people take the coupons, and the restaurant decides to accept the coupons. Camille and Caleb are frustrated, and they express their worry that they might be losing their artistic capabilities. In Chapter 6, Buster awakes in his parents’ home in Tennessee the next day.
