Red Hook

Red Hook is the neighborhood in Brooklyn that Tommy Fianzo gives Joey Colicchio and Carlo Russo as their territory to take care of on behalf of the Fianzo family. It is a predominantly Italian and Irish neighborhood where Sofia and Antonia grow up, and it is the place where the bulk of the novel’s action takes place.

Manhattan

Manhattan is the primary domain of both the Tommy Fianzo Family as well as Eli Leibovich, who is situated on the Lower East Side. Every month, Joey Colicchio and eventually Saul Colicchio must travel to Manhattan in order to give the Fianzos a cut of the Colicchio Family’s profits.
