Summary

In Chapter Nine, Hualit reveals that the spy in Valentina’s home belonged to the king’s former secretary, Antonio Pérez, who is desperate to regain his favor by giving the king miracles. Knowing that Luzia would disobey her, Hualit set a trap that would catch Víctor’s attention.
