Carthya is the country where the novel takes place. It is the home of Sage, Conner, and the others. It is also the location of the royal castle, Farthenwood, and Drylliad. It is a rich, wealthy region, though one on the brink of war with itself and its neighbors.

Farthenwood

Farthenwood is the estate of Conner and his family, and is located near the Carthyan town of Tithio. Farthenwood is where Sage, Tobias, and Roden train to become the false prince.

Drylliad

Drylliad is the capital of the country of Carthya. It is the location of the royal castle, and the seat of power of the country of Carthya. It is the city to which Sage, Conner, and the others travel.
