Chapter 37 Summary

Master Chief John gives the Marines orders to straighten out their sloppy firing. John gets to the Pelican while Linda and the Marines manage to kill some additional aliens. He orders them all to pile in and uses the Pelican to fire at the Circumference to open the hull of the ship. John gets inside to the database panel to destroy the data and save planet Earth. Linda goes out to manually open the hatch doors so John can fly the Pelican out when he returns to the ship. John kills some additional aliens. Before John can warn her about the aliens, Linda takes three shots. The Marines pull Linda into the Pelican. John orders one of the Marines to take over while he goes to Linda. When Linda finds out he destroyed the database in the Circumference, she says they won and...
