Chapter 33 Summary

Several small Covenant ship try to attack the Pillar of Autumn. The vessel moves so that nine of the Covenant ships miss an asteroid but one of the ships plows right into it. Now, the Pillar of Autumn is facing the Covenant carrier ship that launched the smaller ships in the first place. With Cortana's helps as the AI for the ship, she positions the Pillar of Autumn to concentrate on getting rid of the Covenant ships that are focusing on attacking the hull of the Pillar of Autumn. The ship is able to fire and destroy the remaining nine Covenant ships that came from the carrier ship. Three shots from the MAC gun of the Pillar of Autumn reach the Covenant carrier.
