Chapter 25 Summary

Dr. Halsey enters her underground office, far below the ground. The Ai tells her that she late. Dr. Halsey calls up the notes from the debriefing, in which she finds out the USNC has learned relatively nothing. She marvels at the fact that after 30 years on research that the USNC still knows nothing more about eh Covenant than they did when the war began.

Dr. Halsey pointed out to the officers during the debriefing that the unidentified alien species might be a new alien culture that they know nothing about. Something that pleases Dr. Halsey is that her Project MJOLNIR might have funding now to proceed. Cortana, another of Dr. Halsey's AIs, tells Dr. Halsey that the stone they found is similar to one of historic archaeological times.
