Chapter 17 Summary

As the Covenant chips approach the Iroquois, one of the officers tells the Commander they are preparing to fire their plasma weapons. The Commander tells them to stay on course, but to prepare the weapons on the Iroquois. When the plasma missiles are a few seconds from hitting the Iroquois, the Commander commands they fire their MAC weapons, which will propel the Iroquois out of the course of the being hit by the enemy missiles. The alien missiles miss the Iroquois, but the other ships continue their course, heading straight toward the Iroquois.

The Commander gives the command to collide with the destroyer ship. Missiles hit the hull of the Covenant ship and sent it spiraling into orbit. Without power, the ship will explode. The Iroquois takes down another Covenant ship, leaving only the two frigates. They blow away the two frigates. An...
