Chapter 13 Summary

The ship lands on the planet carrying the Spartans. They ride the elevator down to the training room. When they arrive in the training room, they find mannequins dressed in new armor. Dr. Halsey uses a schematic of the battle armor to illustrate the features of it to the Spartans. While the suit increases the speed and strength of the wearer, its drawback is that it crushes the wearer to death. Dr. Halsey explains that normal humans don't have the strength to wear the suit but the Spartans do. John tests the suit and trains on how to use it. They start fitting the suits onto the other Spartans and training them on how to use the suit.
