Delaney Wells

Delaney is the main protagonist in the novel. She is a young woman who grew up in the Midwest with both of her parents and has always enjoyed a simpler life complete with time in nature. When she was a teenager, the Every became a more important social force and began pioneering the world of social media and introducing new technologies to younger and younger generations. When Delaney was given her first smart phone, she quickly grew addicted to it and did not demonstrate interest in her other hobbies such as reading and spending time with her family and friends. As a result of this negative change, Delaney’s parents put her on a strict tech-diet and she slowly comes back to herself.
