Summary
Applications for The Every campus housing soar and Delaney realizes she needs to move as well to continue appearing authentic and committed to the project. Wes questions whether Delaney truly needs to move on campus or whether she has begun to sympathize with the company. She assures him that she is still determined to bring down the Every.
Delaney is placed in a pod managed by Joan and the demand has so outpaced supply that they are converting single-occupancy suites into doubles. The pod contract she signed was similar to her onboarding document, “a manic hybrid of legalese and manifesto, self-help and willful capitalization” (299). There were over 400 questions about her habits, allergies, sleeping schedules, entertainment preferences, and further categories.
