Summary

There are several groups set up at the Every to grieve Eamon. Delaney begins having meetings about the progress of the app she pitched during her interview process. They are impressed with her idea and offer to develop the app. They decide to call the project AuthentiFriend. She posits that for the application to be as accurate as possible and improve human relationships, it must know the user intimately. She proposes “the user would need to spend six to seven hours a day on the phone, for at least three to six months” for the phone to learn their facial patterns and interests" (163).
