Summary
Lynn and Alan talked about Dilg. They decided the facility must have exceptional methods, if they could keep DGDs alive so long. Because she had been to a ward before, however, Lynn was skeptical. Alan had read about Dilg. Apparently they had "some new treatment," and they did not "shut people away to die" like other facilities (405). Alan said he wanted to visit Dilg to see his mother, and to learn more about the facility's methods. He invited Lynn to come along. She was hesitant because of her "DGD-ward experience" (405).
Lynn observed their "reflections in the window glass" (406). Something "felt right" about the image, and so she decided to go with him (406). Alan made an appointment for the following weekend.
