Summary
In Chapter 35, Wolf Blitzer reported on the news that the biomedical research labs at MIT’s Whitehead Institute, one of the labs searching for a vaccine for Kongoli, had been sabotaged. The saboteurs entered the building and set the animal test subjects free. The labs were contaminated and the animals eventually tracked down and killed. The attack was linked to Earth’s Guardians, but Jürgen Stark, the leader of the group, denied any involvement. When Blitzer asked if Jürgen considered the attack a crime against humanity, Jürgen said what was being done to the animals was a crime. He suggested the planet would be better off without humans.
