Summary
Two years after meeting with Alva, Jules had not opened her present and was in a serious relationship with Nora, which he thought could go somewhere. He had been promoted at work to an enviable position, but being questioned by Marty, revealed that his heart was not all that into it. His brother cautioned him, letting him know that because he was 33 now, he did not have the luxury to take everything for granted. Marty even urged Jules to move on from the trauma of their past. Jules then met with Toni, who revealed that, even though he knew it was hopeless, he would always have feelings for Liz, who does not reciprocate.
