Summary

Jules recovers quickly from his motorcycle accident, ramping up his physical activities. Marty and Elena visit with Vincent and Luise, Jules' children. Noticing their fears about his state, Jules acts optimistic, drawing animals with them. After they leave, Jules thinks of his wife, and how she is away in Yekaterinburg, Russia at a conference. He speaks to her over the phone and she tells him she cannot immediately come see him. When Marty visits again, alone, he confronts Jules about his motivations for being on the motorcycle, hinting that he may have been trying to commit suicide. After Marty leaves, Jules goes out for a walk, thinking about the death of someone in his life. He begins to think of the past, settling on the memories just before his accident.
