Chapter 14-19 Summary
Chapter fourteen begins with Wil and Amberle waking and finding their horse is gone. Wil knows the Rovers have taken the horse and they go after the band of travelers. They catch up with the Rovers and Wil performs some healing for the members of the Rover caravan as payment for rest and food. The Rovers pretend they found the horse and cannot give it to Wil in case the real owner comes along and wants to claim it, but they could sell it so that they have something to give the actual owner of the horse if he arrives. Wil tells them that Amberle is his sister. The head of the Rovers, Cephelo, refuses to deal with Wil for the horse since Wil has nothing of value but does let them stay the night with his family. Cephelo's beautiful daughter...
