Summary
Dr. Weber stings from Karin's implications that he has no idea about her anguish about her brother and that he has really done nothing to help. Dr. Weber rationalizes that he has provided tens of thousands of dollars of care for free and he even came to Nebraska saving Karin the time and expense of dragging Mark around the country to specialists who could not help her. Dr. Weber could not tell Karin the real reason he is leaving Nebraska again so suddenly--he is in love with Barbara. Before he goes, Dr. Weber calls Dr. Hayes to tell him his recommendation of putting Mark on medication to which Dr. Hayes responds that that had been his recommendation months ago.
