Summary
After David returns Consuela’s call, she comes up to his apartment, claiming to need him, and tells him she has breast cancer. She found a lump in the shower, and the third doctor she saw told her it was something to worry about. Most of her family has died, so she has no one left to reach out to. David tries to comfort her, to offer support; he even asks to touch her breasts, which she allows because she knows how much he loved them. She wants him to feel her cancer, but he declines for the moment, overwhelmed.
