Summary

In Chapter 11, Whistledown notes in her paper that Daphne left the ball at Hampstead Heath early.

Daphne paced her room, waiting for the rest of her family to come home so she could beg Colin to help her stop the duel. Anthony had promised not to say anything to their mother, but Daphne knew that people would whisper and that those whispers would eventually reach her mother.
