Summary
In Chapter 32, Catherine is still quarantined at the hospital, where sleepers are being dumped at the back door. Her daughter and babysitter in LA are also quarantined, in case Catherine brought the virus back in her first few days on the case. People swarm a supply chopper, and one of the doctors pulls Catherine aside to tell her they are moving the opioids. He is worried that will be the next spot raided. Catherine helps however she can despite not being a medical doctor, and the man worried about the opioids is found asleep from OxyContin. Catherine gets a call that her daughter has a fever and is not waking up. She spends the whole night video chatting with the babysitter, until her daughter wakes up early in the morning.
