Summary
In “Ama,” Kofi thinks about all of the things he would like to tell Ama. He would like to tell her that he would peel her if she was a mango; he would like to reveal her after keeping her for himself, and he would find her if she disappeared, and after treating her like gold, he would mine her. Instead, he asks her if she would like some nuts. The two speak in “Conversation with Ama.” Kofi starts speaking in English, but Ama tells him he can speak in Twi because she does not have a cane.
