Summary
“The Story of the Big War” tells the history of Upper and Lower Kwanta. At one point the two regions lived in peace and harmony, and they shared the gold found in the river. Then one day some gold went missing, and the belief was that two men from Lower Kwanta traded the gold with some foreigners from the Coast. The King of Upper Kwanta, Nana Manu Bambara II visited the King of Lower Kwanta, Nana Nii Boateng. Boating was hosting some foreigners who he called the wonderfuls. Embarrassed by the Bambara’s accusations in front of his guests, Boating became angry about accusations of harboring criminals and then a brutal war broke out.
