Summary

A young white musician named Patrick Jewell lived in Brooklyn; he had just fallen in love with a girl he met and life was good. On March 23, 2011, he walked his girlfriend to the subway. As he watched her leave, someone grabbed his arm. It was a Hispanic guy who dragged him to the brick wall. He wanted to know why Patrick was in his neighborhood. Two others joined the first guy. They were dressed alike and surrounded Patrick. He thought he was being robbed so he offered them his money. They were enraged. He screamed for help but no one came to his aid.
