Clausen's Pier

Clausen’s Pier is a place where people can go for recreation in Madison, Wisconsin. It is where Carrie and Mike and friends go on Memorial Day weekend. It is where Mike dives off the pier and breaks his neck.

The Mayer House

The Mayer House is where Mike lives with his parents. Prior to his accident, Mike was still living with his parents. His family converts part of the first floor of the house into a room and bathroom that is accessible for Mike when he comes home after rehab.

The Hospital

The hospital is where Mike is in ICU after the accident. Mike’s family, friends, and Carrie spend time with him in the ICU. Rooster meets Joan, a nurse, in the ICU as well.
