Alpha Summary
Alessandro Tesorieri, nicknamed "Alpha" because of his alpha dog status, is a friend of Matthew's. Alpha spent the last year in New York Public schools because his single mother couldn't afford to send him to Alabaster. He has come back on scholarships. Matthew explains that Alpha enjoys breaking rules, and so he enjoys Alabaster. Frankie discovers to her surprise that the boy she met on the boardwalk is Alpha. He is in the gym with a mutual friend named Dean.
Dean likewise does not remember Frankie, and it makes her angry. But it also appeals to her how self-confident the three of them are.
