Summary
The protagonist, an overweight fourty four year old from Cleveland, thinks back to the time he went on a business trip to Prague. At the start of his trip, he was happy to spend most of the time in his hotel room before going home. However, he was convinced by Antonin, a man present at his business dinners, to go on a walking tour. The protagonist had no real interest in going on the tour but was too lazy to cancel. He joins Antonin, jet- lagged and in need of coffee. Antonin dissuaded him from going into the Starbucks, as he was going to take him to the best coffee place in Prague on the tour.
During the tour, Antonin pointed out many buildings and churches of significance. He displayed a deep knowledge of history to the protagonist...
