Chapters 12-19 Summary

Chapter 12:

"Early the next morning, Reggie's dad didn't yell at her. He didn't speak a word to her. He wouldn't even look at her when she passed him in the kitchen. The sad silence made it unbearable, and she wanted to take his hand in hers, to talk to him, to make him hear the truth." Chap. 12, p. 101

Reggie wishes there is some way that she could reach her father. She needs help but it seems that he is not capable due to his own stresses dealing with the loss of their mother and trying to figure out how to raise the two children on his own.

Reggie goes over to Aaron's house. Aaron begins to scour the internet for clues.

Reggie and Aaron talk to Eben about what they have learned. Eben agrees to take the friends to the Fredericks...
