Wellton

Wellton, Arizona is a town in Yuma County, along the border between the United States and Mexico. The Wellton Station was responsible for the finding and rescue of the remaining members of the “Wellton 26.” Wellton is located along the I-8 highway. Because it is a common place for Mexicans to cross the border, Wellton has had to adapt to its role as a provider and savior. Many of the members of the Wellton Border Patrol team are compassionate and greatly concerned by the fates of the Yuma 14.
