Wealth

Wealth is one of the most prevalent themes in The Destroyers, set in both New York City and beautiful Grecian islands. Ian grew up with a millionaire father in the heart of New York City, alongside Charlie whose father is a billionaire. After Ian’s charity attempts in Panama turn into him supposedly being associated with a bomb plot, the animosity that Ian’s father has always had for him intensifies. Ian begs for a loan from his father on his deathbed, but the old man dies, leaving Ian disinherited.
