The point of view of this novel is the third-person omniscient. The point of view of this novel is made omniscient because the author does not use a single character as his narrator, but moves from character to character to tell his story. The author uses three main characters to tell his story, Ali, Ike, and Thomas, but he also makes forays into the minds of other characters such as January and Vera, when these characters are better in a situation to carry on the narration of the novel.
