A Family Under Attack and Deliverance Summary and Analysis

In "A Family Under Attack", the Warrens discuss a family called the Donovan's. Their plight began with several flat tires, of which nothing was thought. Ted Donovan's daughter, Patty, had been using a Ouija board, and had inadvertently invited a demonic spirit into her life. Over time, the person she spoke with became her "boyfriend," and she asked it to appear. Shortly after, tires went flat, cars wouldn't start, and damage began to occur around the home. Patty could no longer raise her friend on the board, and occurrences around the house began to increase in intensity and violence. Soon, noises began and explosions occurred within the house. Steam radiators were broken, furnaces stopped working, furniture levitated and was thrown against the walls and at the inhabitants. Stone began raining on...
