Chapter 18: On the Borderland and Chapter 19: Name Day Summary
At Marisa Pines, the renaming ceremony is only a week away. Han's own sixteenth birthday had come and gone with scarcely a ripple, and there was no ceremony to mark his transition. He wonders why Dancer is struggling to choose a vocation. Han decides to go and see Lucius to tell him he won't be able to deliver for him anymore. The cabin looks deserted, and Dog is locked inside. Han opens the door and sees movement in the dark on the bed. Dog's dishes are empty, and Lucius is deep into his own product - so much that he doesn't realize who Han is at first.
