Chapter 13: The Raggers Summary
Han can tell that Raisa is trying to keep track of where they are going. He can hear that she is beginning to wear out, and pulls her through a narrow alley into a courtyard. Han picks the lock holding wooden cellar doors against a building and tells her there are a dozen steps down. Raisa tells Cuffs her name is Rebecca Morley and he explains that it isn't safe to let her go that late at night. He suggests she get some sleep, and curls up himself to do the same. It takes a long time before her breathing is rhythmic. Han can't stop thinking about the green amulet with the serpent. The next morning Raisa wakes and Han is still asleep at the foot of the stairs.
