Chapter 11: Sanctuary Summary
Han makes his way to Southbridge Temple and it is four in the morning when he knocks. He asks for Speaker Jemson who arrives shortly after, stunned to see his injuries but glad to see that Han is still alive having feared the worst when he hadn't returned for Mari. Jemson asks Han if he had any involvement in the killings, and he swears his innocence. Luckily for Han, Willo is at the temple as well, and she is summoned to help heal Han's broken arm. She gives him willow bark for the pain. Dancer comes in, and leans forward to touch Han's face, but his skin is blazing with flames pinwheeling from his body. Willo asks Dancer to leave, but Han tries to call him back, recognizing something is wrong with him. The next time he wakes, it is late...
