Luke Castellan
Luke Castellan is a demigod who ran away from his human home when he was nine. As the story of “The Diary of Luke Castellan” begins, he is 14 years old. Luke is a troubled boy. He ran away from home because his mother had fallen apart after his father, Hermes, the Messenger of the Gods and the God of Travel and Thieves, left her. He felt abandoned by both parents. He didn’t make many friends among the mortals. When he did he lost them as soon as he told them about his true identity.
Luke accompanies his only friend, fellow demigod Thalia, on a trek to help out another demigod, Halcyon, who has been wrongly imprisoned by his own father, Apollo. He and Thalia have a lot in common because they both came from dysfunctional homes. While on their mission, Halcyon knows he will not survive...
