Summary

The next diary entry is titled "Sunday." Greg wakes up early the next morning by a man doing wood carving with a chain saw. Greg's first reaction is to “give him a piece of my mind” (115), but he takes one look at the large man with a mustache and “figured maybe I could let it slide this one time” (115). Dad begins cooking and Mom returns from having a shower. She gives Greg some quarters, which are needed to make the shower work, and asks him to stop by the laundromat to move their clothes from the washer to the dryer.
