Chapter 5 Summary

Guardian takes Maxima to the hospital while Superman goes off more determined to stop Doomsday that before. Superman flies through the sky and can see a clear path that Doomsday has left. Doomsday tears up an overpass and throws a car into the air. Superman catches the car and calmly sets it down. The driver tells Superman that the creature came out of nowhere and seemed to be destroying things at random.

Doomsday enters a Lex-Mart shopping store. The people are running out of the store as the creature suddenly finds something that catches his attention. There is an advertisement on a department store television for a wrestling match at the Metropolis Arena. The advertisement says that it will be war and asks "Where are ya gonna go?" and Doomsday slurs out a one word sentence that greatly resembles Metropolis.
