Chapters 72, 73 and Epilogue Summary

The room continues to tremble from the series of explosions. Janson fights with Thomas as the others fight with the rest of Janson's guards. An explosion causes the ceiling to cave in on them. It pins Teresa's body, except for her head and one arm. Thomas apologizes to Teresa. Teresa tries to apologize but she dies before she gets it all out.

The rest escape as the building collapses behind them. Brenda starts up the flat plane flying machines that lift them out of WICKED. They crash land on a beach and watch as WICKED burns to the ground.

Minho takes charge in building the village where they're going to live. Thomas and the others are the start of a new civilization. The chancellor sends out a final memo to WICKED explaining the success and failure of their experiment...
