Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

As the new guards enter the room, Brenda and the others fight them. Newt says they have to get out of there because the guards are just going to keep coming. They get one of the female guards to admit that there are at least fifty guards on duty. She says something else is happening but she doesn't know what it is.

They take the female guard as a hostage. Thomas says Brenda should take the lead. They go through a corridor and Thomas pulls the keycard to open the door at the end of the corridor. When they blast through the door, the alarm goes off and the lights go out. Newt suggests that the entire thing is a test so that the scientists can analyze what they do.

The alarm stops. They continue on to find Jorge. Minho says...
