Summary
In Chapter 17, Liselle started dating Garcia. She "paled in comparison" to Selena (80). One night while they were studying in the library, Garcia fell asleep. Liselle was embarrassed. Suddenly, Selena appeared. She made a comment about Garcia. Then she started talking about how the library possessed no literature on "the MOVE bombing" (82). Afterwards, Lisette discovered the library did have information on the bombing. She did not understand Selena's meaning.
In Chapter 18, Liselle moved to New York after graduation. She worked for "a startup called Media Inc" (83). Through work she met Luther, Sasha, and Winn. Despite how the city overwhelmed Liselle, "New York turned her on" (86). The hardest part was not having many friends.
