The nights continue to be cold and miserable. Roland Deschain, Susannah Dean, and Oy continue to the Dark Tower. Mordred is also cold. Roland and Susannah hunt a herd of deer to get food and their hides to make clothing. Susannah dreams about Eddie Dean and Jake Chambers that night, seeing them in Central Park in New York City.
